About the Event

From April 7 - 18, 2008, Coral Reef Yacht Club in Coconut Grove/Miami, Florida will host the 2008 Star World Championship. We anticipate that this will be one of the most prestigious sailing regattas ever to be held on Biscayne Bay. Not only are Stars the oldest Olympic one-design class but it is still a very competitive class in today’s sailing world with the best of the best sailors competing in the regatta. To make it even more exciting, several nations will be sending teams who will be trying to qualify their country for the Olympics in China. Miami will certainly be the center of the sailing world next April. We hope that you will be here too!
